Experience a new level of performance and confidence with the Quarken 27’s twin Yamaha 150 hp engine option. This long-awaited upgrade brings enhanced safety and control on the water.
Twin engines deliver effortless handling and exceptional manoeuvrability. Docking becomes remarkably simple, as the skipper can steer basically using the throttles alone, without even touching the wheel.

Twin Power. One Purpose — Pure Freedom.
Acceleration is brisk, and top speed is reached more swiftly than with a single installation. Twin propulsion adds stability and comfort, particularly in rough conditions, by distributing the load more evenly across the hull.

In addition, the twin-engine setup can be paired with Yamaha’s Helm Master and autopilot system. Designed with modern styling, a premium feel, and refined ergonomics, the helm master features a joystick that allows precise maneuvering in tight spaces—such as marinas—including the ability to move the boat sideways or rotate it on its axis for exceptional precision and control.
The result: refined power, composed handling, and total peace of mind — hallmarks of the new Quarken 27 twin engine experience.

This boat will do that job very well for you and entertain a great number of guests while also being perhaps the best adventure hull to park that I have featured on the channel. This is due to the variable speed thruster intergration with the Yamaha joystick which we demonstrate in Part 2 the test drive video.”

Quarken 35 Sport Tourer – Superior, Sporty, and Stylish
The 35 Sport Tourer shows how sophisticated Nordic design and solutions can be combined with superior performance for an unforgettable on-water experience. Cleverly designed seating arrangements offer plenty of relaxation space. The standard wet bar is well-equipped with storage space, a fridge and fresh water.
Helm and navigation The helm has a clean, modern and a sporty feel to it. It can be equipped with twin Garmin 12” touchscreen displays, Yamaha helmmaster and wireless charging for phone as well as many other technical features. The Sport Tourer comes standard with ZipWake automatic trim system and bow thruster with variable speed that makes it easy to dock and manoeuvre the boat. All the dash board and console panels have a high-gloss black finish and the steering wheel is adjustable.
The cockpit area is covered by a solid T-top roof constructure that offers weather protection. The roof includes a glass sky window that provides a light-flooded atmosphere in the cockpit.
Flexible seating solutions The double helm seat/sofa comes with electrical pedestals which makes it possible to easily adjust the seating height for the best possible driving position. It is also easy to convert the sofa to an L-sofa in the cockpit thanks to the electrical pedestal solution. By flipping the backrest of the large aft sunbed to the rear a U-formed dinning area is formed in a blink of an eye. The wet bar unit is in a central position on the port-side in the cockpit, directly opposite the U-sofa, which makes it easy to prepare and cook meals while at the same the socializing with family and friends.
The comfortable aft sunbed is the perfect spot to enjoy lazy days out in the sun. Underneath it holds a generous compartment storage for water sports equipment and other cargo. The manually opening side terraces in the aft are standard and give additional seating space while at anchor. The large sundeck in the bow offers additional seating space and is easily accessible from aft through the passageway on the starboard side. Under the sunbed in the bow there is a deck hatch to the front cabin, that makes it easy to load luggage and also ventilate the cabin on hot days.
Comfort of the forward cabin The forward cabin has a cozy and comfortable large bed for two adults and a sofa that can be extended to a bed for children. The interior is defined by high-class materials in a soft and neutral Nordic colour palate that creates a calm and peaceful atmosphere to relax. Underneath the bed and sofa, there is a storage space. The enclosed toilet compartment is on the port side in the forward cabin. It is equipped with a toilet, sink and shower that guarantees easy living onboard
Power and performance The Quarken 35 Sport Tourer is designed, produced and assembled in Finland. The twin-step hull is manufactured by vacuum infusion technology that offers benefits as thickness control of the GRP and quality consistency in the production process. The outcome is a strong, nimble and lighter hull with lower fuel consumption. The 35 Sport Tourer is powered by twin Yamaha F300 outboard engines, and as an option an upgrade possibility to twin 350’s is possible. Both pairings provide a confident and dynamic drive. The top speed with F300 engines is 44 knots and the fuel consumption is under 3,0 ltr/ nautical mile (in 3500 rpm). With F350 engines top speed is approximately 50 knots and fuel consumption practically same as with F300 engines.
Alex Smith takes a test drive of the new Quarken 35 Cabin Tourer, Quarken’s largest model yet, which follows much the same principles as the award-winning 27
“But while the Quarken feels cool and distinctive in the same way that perhaps a Saab 900 used to, you could argue that Axopar’s global success has made it feel a touch – well, if not bland, then certainly obvious. More to the point, while Axopar is built alongside a bunch of other mainstream brands in a huge industrial unit in Poland, this thing is put together amongst its home waters in the heartland of Finnish boat building. Considered in that context, the fact that it costs £315,000 all-in inc VAT (more than £100,000 less than you might expect to pay for a Wellcraft 355) ought to be ample cause for knowing nods and considered applause. And that’s particularly true, given that (in stark contrast to most brands, including Axopar and Wellcraft), this highly specced test boat adds a remarkably modest 25% to the price of the base package. However you look at it then, the upshot is clear. Good to drive, cleverly arranged, easy to use and accessibly priced, Quarken’s award-winning formula has been as keenly realised on this new flagship as on any Quarken that has gone before.”
